Four Hands Collective is thrilled to share that Trio Fadolín will perform at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on September 19 & 20 in the Great Hall Balcony Bar.

Formed during the pandemic, Trio Fadolín features Sabina Torosjan (violin), Valeriya Sholokhova (cello), and Ljova on the fadolín — a remarkable new instrument that bridges the ranges of violin, viola, and cello. Together, they’ve quickly become a standout ensemble, already presented by Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, PACNYC, and now the Met.

Expect a program that travels widely: Ukrainian and Estonian works, folk traditions from Armenia to Uzbekistan, and original music by Ljova. The result is a sound world that’s as adventurous as it is rooted in tradition.
