At Don’t Tell Mama, stories come alive — and this one couldn’t be more powerful. Alexsei’s Quest is a brand-new musical inspired by the life and courage of Alexsei Navalny, who sacrificed everything in his fight for freedom and democracy in Russia.

With book and lyrics by George Pfirrman and music by Jamie Allen, the music blends drama and lyricism with the emotional depth only live music can bring — featuring two extraordinary members of the Four Hands Collective: Valeriya Sholokhova on cello and Antongiulio Foti on piano.

This 65-minute performance of the music from the show is intimate, moving, and deeply human — a reminder of how art can speak truth to power. Seating starts at 9PM, and yes, it’s a cash-only kind of night — just like old-school cabaret should be.
