The Ned NoMad welcomes singer-songwriter, jazz vocalist, and guitarist Angie Pastor for an intimate evening of acoustic warmth and lyrical storytelling. Known for her delicate vulnerability and signature fingerstyle guitar, Angie blends jazz and folk influences into a sound that is both tender and deeply resonant.
Inspired by artists like Norah Jones, Nat King Cole, Carole King, and Alison Krauss, Angie brings a heartfelt, narrative approach to every performance. Her musical path—shaped through CCNY’s vocal jazz program and four formative years with Jazz Power Initiative—includes mentorship from Catherine Russell, Marion Cowings, Nicole Zuraitis, Tom Dempsey, Amy London, and more.
Her artistry has taken her to Birdland, Dizzy’s Club, The Bitter End, The DiMenna Center, Room 623, Virgin Hotels, The United Palace, The National Jazz Museum in Harlem, and over 40 Sofar Sounds shows.
This Monday, she brings that same intimacy and elegance to The Ned NoMad for an extended, atmospheric set with her quartet.
